A road in ward no. 2 of Pali village (Dharavi Island Area) was not in a good condition and it caused immense difficulties to the villagers to commute on that road, especially during monsoons. This issue was taken up at the ward level core committee. After discussing this issue at length, the members drafted an application and presented it to the local corporator. This was in the month of March 2018. After a prolonged follow up, the local corporator finally visited the village in the month of July 2018. This visit resulted in the measurement of the road being taken and also a little patch work to fill up the potholes.
Finally, early August, the road was completely repaired. The people in this village are elated with this success. They can now travel safely on this road and the children too can play with ease.
