The Archdiocesan Board of Education (ABE) sought an appointment with the Education Minister, Hon'ble Shri Vinod Tawde, to discuss issues and concerns experienced by Catholic schools affiliated to the ABE.
The representatives were given an appointment today, February 21, 2015, and raised 5 points of concern with regards to difficulties experienced by our Catholic Schools.
These concerns ranged from non- salary grants to appointments and approval of teaching staff. The Hon'ble Minister addressed some of the issues that he felt he could deal with right away and also promised to find a solution to the other concerns raised.
The Archdiocesan Board of Education wishes to state that it feels reassured that the concerns raised would be appropriately dealt with.
