We are deeply saddened by the heinous terrorist attack on our CRPF troop on 14th February, 2019 at Pulwama, in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 40 Jawans were killed and others injured. We condemn this and all such brutal acts.
In solidarity with the families of those killed in this tragic incident, the Archdiocese of Bombay will offer a Memorial Mass at St. Michael’s Church, Mahim, at 8 am on Wednesday, 20th February, 2019 followed by a Memorial Service and tribute to the fallen heroes.
The Archdiocese of Bombay will also make the Memorial Mass and Service available on its website, and we encourage all parishes in the Archdiocese to organise similar services on the weekend of 23rd / 24th February, 2019.
