HOLY CROSS HIGH SCHOOL, KURLA, GRANTED MIEB AFFILIATION

In a first for a Parish School, in the Archdiocese of Bombay, the Holy Cross High School, Kurla has been granted affiliation to the prestigious Maharashtra International Education Board (MIEB) to implement its international curriculum.

Holy Cross High School, Kurla, started out as a Marathi medium school 118 years ago and still functions alongside the English medium section.  The affiliation to the MIEB will allow it to implement high quality education on par with international standards, offering an inter-disciplinary curriculum which will focus on attitude, knowledge, application, skills and habits.  The syllabus will be provided by MIEB and students will be able to pick from a list of subjects on offer.  Implementation will begin at the nursery level up to Class III, with additional classes added later.

MIEB an autonomous Board, established by the Government of Maharashtra, State Education Department, and second to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education,  aims to run Schools across Maharashtra conforming to international standards.
