Rev. Fr. Joshua D’Souza Appointed Official for Migrants, Ecology, and SCC Commissions - CBCI

The Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI) appointed the following Fathers, Rev. Fr. Jaison Vadassery (49) Rev. Fr. Joshua D’Souza (37), and Fr. George Jacob, SAC (54) as Executive Secretaries to the CCBI Commissions for Migrants, Ecology and Small Christian Communities. The appointments were made at the 82 Executive Committee meeting held on 7 May, 2019, Bangalore.

Fr. Joshua D’Souza (37) is from the Archdiocese of Bombay and currently the principal of Our Lady of Lourdes School and Junior College, Kalyan, Mumbai. He was born on 30 August, 1982 in Mumbai and ordained a priest on 6 April, 2013 for the Archdiocese of Bombay. He holds a master’s degree in commerce (M. Com), a bachelor’s degree in education (B.Ed) and law (LLB). He served the Archdiocese of Bombay as Secretary to the Commission for Justice and Peace, assistant parish priest at St. John Baptist Church, Thane and Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Kalyan.
