Church donates Mother Mary’s ornaments to flood relief

Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, Manjummel, from the Archdiocese of Verapoly, Kerala, joined the global effort to raise funds for the flood-ravaged Kerala. A priest, a member of the Order of the Discalced Carmelites, said the ornaments remained idle for most of the time. “Mother Mary doesn’t need gold ornaments,” he told reporters.
