Catholic nuns take the forefront in relief work for flooded Kerala

Church workers and nuns, are helping over a million people in the relief camps in the southwestern state of Kerala. According to Fr. George Vettikattil, “All 32 Catholic dioceses in Kerala have joined relief works. The sisters play a pivotal role in taking care of the elderly, children and the sick.”
