Pope Francis recites the Angelus with the people reciting three times “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Pope Francis reflected on the profession of faith of St. Peter from the gospel of Mathew and also prays for peace and serenity in Ukraine as they celebrated their independence day on 24th august while reciting the Angelus with the people on Sunday and speaking to them about their faith saying, "Each baptized person is called to offer to Jesus their own faith, poor but sincere, so that He can continue to build his Church, today, in every part of the world."
