Well Done ABE Schools!
June 17, 2016
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela.
In this respect, we change the world everyday through our efforts to promote literacy and the importance of education. Along with teachers and parents, our students work hard for a better tomorrow and their efforts are evident in this year’s results.
51 schools reported 100% results, and 62 schools obtained a pass percentage between 95-100%. From the total number of students who sit for the Secondary School Certificate Examination every year, 12% are from schools affiliated to the Archdiocesan Board of Education. And since our schools cater largely to the poor and marginalised sections of society, we can proudly say that we’re moving towards a bright future.
The graph below shows us the impact of Catholic/Convent Education.
