On this day, 50 years ago the 38th International Eucharistic Congress was inaugurated with a solemn Mass at the Oval Maidan. As you are aware the Archdiocese of Bombay is celebrating the Golden Jubilee of that event of grace that showcased the spiritual life of the Church in India.
On November 6th, we began with the CIRCLE OF LIFE as the Blessed Sacrament visited the length and breadth of the Archdiocese where the faithful spent hours in adoration. The photographs of the same can be seen on the webpage of the Archdiocese of Bombay. This evening the parishes have been requested to celebrate a special mass where a video message of His Eminence Cardinal Oswald Gracias will be screened.
Tomorrow the Exhibition of the Congress will be inaugurated at the St. Joseph’s Convent in Bandra and will be kept open for viewing from 30th November to 14th December. Do try and join your parish groups or even go as a family for the same.
