The Cardinal Ivan Dias Prize 2014

Feb. 11, 2014

Every year, beginning with this year, the Archdiocese of Bombay wishes to encourage works that can reach out to a large audience and are the expression of a strong Christian commitment to the exemplary life and role of Mary in the mystery of Christ and on her active and exemplary presence in the life of the Church. With this in mind, the Archdiocese of Bombay has instituted the Cardinal Ivan Dias Prize for the best written article in Mariology.

The award will be given in each of the following three categories: A) To Priests, Religious Brothers, Seminarians B) To Religious Sisters and C) To Lay Persons. Should there be more than one winner in each category, the award will be equally divided among them. The Prize is granted according to merit by a panel of three judges.

We have chosen 11 February, the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes as the date of announcing the Pize. Accordingly, the winners of the Cardinal Ivan Dias Prize for 2014 are given here below. Congratulations to the three winners. The Prize will be given at an appropriate date chosen for the occasion.
